About the RTSP
This working group was formed at the 11th ITSC meeting in Budapest (2000) to foster the development of radiative transfer and surface property models for satellite radiance assimilation. On this site we maintain up-to-date reference information on
- atmospheric profile datasets and profile manipulation tools for radiative transfer model development and validation
- satellite instrument characteristics relevant to radiative transfer modelling and satellite data assimilation
- line-by-line models and spectroscopic databases
- fast radiative transfer model developments
- and surface property models
and documentation relating to our working group activities
